There have been quite a few updates in the video and digital world recently, and we have curated a collection of articles, focusing on the most relevant ones for digital fundraising.


As YouTube grows in viewers among users over 35s, here is a great article to make a quick audit of your channel and grow subscribers:


Tik-Tok may be leading the way with the highest time spent per session but Meta’s powerful ad platform is still the top choice for advertisers. However, more and more brands are testing a holistic approach to short-form videos on different platforms. Organisations should be thinking the same way to de-risk digital programs.


Whatsapp is introducing video messages. Users will be able to respond to chats with short-form videos (up to 60 secs).


TikTok changes its algorithm for EU users in line with regulations. Amongst other changes that can reduce targeting capabilities, users who switch off personalisation will see popular videos from where they live and around the world – as opposed to content based on personal interests. It will be interesting to see how that impacts engagement and time spent on the platform which are TikTok's two big wins so far.
